One of 12 tiles and 4 border tiles. grey earthenware, stamped in raised outline and filled in with coloured glazes. Overall design: along the top of the panel is a frieze with a repeating design of two foxes under alternating trees with others moulded with a fox coiled in a square medallion, the decoration is in blue, yellow, green and manganese-purple, designed for the National Competition by James Skinner of Burslem School Art. English, 1903. This border tile is only decorated with a blue glazed ground.

One of six tiles, "Azulejos", tin-glazed red earthenware, impressed, Hispano-Moresque, the design consists of interlacing geometrical bands in white, the interspaces being painted in manganese-purple, blue, green and yellow. Spanish (Seville), 15th century.
